President: Andrea Adams
Andrea Adams is a senior majoring in Agricultural Education and
Communication, specializing in education. Andrea is from Bartow,
Florida where she grew up and was active in FFA. Andrea is also
Vice President of Alpha Tau Alpha, the honorary society for students
concentrating in Agricultural Education and Communication. She loves
the University of Florida and couldn't dream of being anywhere else.

Vice President: Melissa Hinton
Melissa
Hinton is a junior studying Agricultural Education and Communication
with a specialization in education. She is from Riverview, Florida
where she was active in FFA during high school. After she graduates
she plans to teach Agricultural Education or work for the family
business, Hinton Farms Produce. Melissa is also active at the University
as a CALS Ambassador, and a member of National Society of Collegiate
Scholars, Alpha Tau Alpha, and Sigma Phi Lambda.

Ag Council Representative: Amie Taylor
Amie
Taylor is a junior from Alachua , Florida dual-majoring in Agricultural
Education and Communication and Animal Science with a specialization
in the Beef Cattle Industry. Amie serves as the 2007 Ag Council
Representative for Collegiate FFA and is a CALS Ambassador. Additionally,
she is actively involved in the Florida Cattleman's Association,
Alachua County Youth Fair and Livestock Show Association, First
United Methodist Church of Alachua College Group, and volunteers
for the Alachua County School Board.

Ag Council Representative: Jennifer Nobles
Jen
Nobles has been actively involved in FFA events since she was very
young. Her mother was an agriculture teacher for twenty years and
Jen has been an active FFA member since middle school. In addition
to being an agricultural education major, she is studying animal
biology and has hopes for getting into vet school. She is also active
in Golden Key and pre-vet meetings and can be found on UF's Santa
Fe Beef Research Unit. She has a deep passion for agriculture and
CFFA.

Secretary: Carrie Howell
Carrie Howell is a junior majoring in Agricultural Education with
a Minor in Leadership. She is originally from DeLand, FL where she
was chapter president of her high school's FFA chapter as well as
the FFA Alumni secretary. Agricultural education is her passion.
Carrie hopes to go into agricultural eduaction to educate young
people today about the impact agriculture has on their everyday
lives and how they should not take it for granted. In her spare
time she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and playing with
her puppy, Riley.

Reporter: Amy Keyser
Amy
Keyser if from New Smyrna Beach, Fl where she was extremely active
in FFA. Amy is a past state FFA officer who still loves to be active
in FFA. She is a senior majoring in Agricultural Education. She
loves hanging out with her friends and is absolutely obsessed with
BubbleTea.

Treasurer: Krystal Gunter
Krystal
Jean Gunter is from the small town of Raiford, Florida. She graduated
from Union County High School in 2005. Krystal finished her AA degree
from Lake City Community College in May 2006. She started her program
at the University of Florida in May 2006 pursuing a degree in Food
and Resource Economics, and is currently a junior. She hopes to
have a career in marketing for the United States Department of Agriculture.
She is involved in AgEcon and the Student Alumni Association at
UF, and is a sister of the Sigma Alpha Agricultural Sorority. She
enjoys watching football, playing her guitar, and traveling. Go

Historian: Natalie Harrison
Natalie
Harrison is an Agricultural Education major, planning to graduate
with her Bachelor's degree in the Spring of 2008. She is from Trenton,
Florida, and a huge supporter of the National FFA Organization.
She loves agriculture and animals of every kind. Natalie really
enjoys attending the University of Florida and participating in
the Collegiate FFA Chapter.

Advisor: Dr. Shannon Washburn
Dr.
Shannon Washburn taught high school and middle school agriculture
in Hugoton Kansas prior to his graduate education. He joined the
UF Faculty in 2002 and specializes in Teacher Education in Agriculture.
His primary focus is on Agriscience teacher career transition and
professional development.
